Coral Gables Rotaract Club
Coral Gables, FL
Coral Gables Rotaract is part of a global effort to bring peace and understanding to the world. We're plugged into a network of over 7,000 Rotaract clubs in about 163 countries, all centered on community service, international understanding, leadership training and professional development.
Join us for an upcoming meeting and connect with other young professionals who strive to be active in their local and global communities--and have fun! Read more about us here.

Coral Gables Rotaract began meeting in February 2008, and is a twin club with the East Nassau Rotaract Club in the Bahamas.
We welcome guests who are interested in membership. Please read more about membership here.
We have had a number of visiting Rotaractors from other clubs!
Please join us on November 30 at the Chophouse to raise funds for our upcoming sevice project - a holiday party for homeless children. Click the invite below to learn more or purchase advance tickets!

At each club meeting, members throw down some cash to tell everyone good news or something we are happy about. Buy-in is $1, though enthusiasts have been known to throw in fives and tens.
In the fall of 2010, we participated in a global project to raise funds for the Restavek Freedom Foundation's work in Haiti, organized by our twin club. http://rotaract-restavek.tumblr.com/
In December 2009, we collected over $500 to send used fire-fighting equipment to Nicaragua in a joint project working with Rotaractor Luis Adolfo, also a volunteer firefighter in Managua, Nicaragua.
Other happy dollar causes have included PolioPlus -- the Rotary-led initiative to eradicate Polio across the globe; the Guitars Over Guns Operation -- a local music education initiative founded by Chad Bernstein (of Suenalo and Spam Allstars fame); and Communication Integration -- a nonprofit aimed at increasing technology and education access domestically and in developing nations, which worked in partnership with Project Medishare in Haiti following the earthquake in January 2010.
Clearly, we are a very happy club.
